Description and curator notes
This Śākta Upaniṣad expounds Guhyakālī in a sustained theological and cosmological register. The Goddess is connected with the structure and powers of the universe and with the consciousness through which reality is known. Its scale allows fuller exploration than the other brief Kālī Upaniṣads in the collection. It is valuable for studying how a specifically tantric Kālī form is expressed through the language and authority of Upaniṣadic revelation.
