Description and curator notes

Beginning with salutations to the guru Akṣobhya and Gaṇeśa, this protective hymn invokes Bhairava, Mahākāla, and the Goddess’s syllabic powers. The Sanskrit alphabet appears as a field of protective mother powers distributed through the body. Later verses relate several goddess forms within the text’s own ritual theology. The fifty-verse sequence offers a substantial comparison with the shorter Kālikākulasarvasva kavaca and the other Śyāmārahasya version.
