Description and curator notes
A brief hymn to dancing Kālī, organized through repeated salutations and images of her fierce appearance. Weapons, garlands, hair, and the setting of destruction contribute to a rhythmic evocation of divine movement. It is a compact source for the dance dimension of Kālī iconography and can be read alongside longer visualizations and theological hymns without mistaking its short scope for an incomplete larger text.
