Description and curator notes
Mahākāla introduces a secret heart hymn of Dakṣiṇakālī and explains its origin through his own need for release from the consequences of Brahmā’s beheading. The composition interweaves praise, mantric material, and protective or remedial claims. Its narrative gives the hymn a distinctive theological setting: even the fierce divine speaker depends on Kālī’s power. Alternate titles and the printed source should be retained together in catalogue searches.
