Description and curator notes
A Turkish-language overview of Kali within Shaktism, discussing her relationship with Shakti, her maternal and destructive characteristics, and interpretations of her iconography. The article brings together accounts of worship, temples, offerings, and the goddess’s relationships with other Hindu deities. Its bibliography includes English-language scholarship, religious studies reference works, and Turkish translations. It can broaden a multilingual collection and provide an introductory account for Turkish readers. The text is a synthetic interpretation rather than an edition of Sanskrit sources or a new ethnographic monograph; its historical and gender-related generalizations should therefore be read alongside specialist studies.
