Description and curator notes
An introduction to Kurukulla’s place in Buddhist textual and ritual traditions, with references to Sanskrit and Tibetan materials and a bibliography for further study. It explains her iconography and relations to the lotus family and Tara. This belongs in a comparative name-context section because Kurukulla occurs in KaliDevotion.com’s name list. The shared name alone does not establish that a Buddhist Kurukulla text is a text about Hindu Kali. The introduction is freely readable in full and is useful for keeping that distinction explicit.
