Description and curator notes

This praise of Kumārī treats the Goddess through youthful, mature and aged appearances and through ritual locations in the subtle body. It connects worship of the maiden with knowledge, protection, liberation and the presence of divine power in embodied forms. Introductory and concluding verses give the hymn a ritual frame. It is a useful companion to the website's consecutive names concerning Kumārī worship, while Kumārī devotion and the Mātṛkā Kaumārī should remain separately indexed.
