Description and curator notes
This decree settles a dispute concerning land revenue supporting worship at Palāñcoka. Although the principal temple is named for Bhagavatī, its two festival budgets explicitly distinguish offerings for Śrī Kālikā, making the record directly useful for a Kali library. The itemized schedule identifies ritual supplies, payments and food for participants. The complete Nepali edition and English translation are accompanied by commentary comparing earlier allocations and later accounts. It documents Kālikā worship within a wider local temple economy without equating all Bhagavatī traditions with Kali. The edition preserves uncertainty concerning several readings and the identities of the addressees; it is a full scholarly presentation of a surviving certified copy, not a modern reconstruction of every lost founding grant.
The catalogue year dates the modern scholarly edition; the historical decree, its calendar era and the later copy's uncertain date are recorded separately below.
